Petaling Jaya Half Marathon 2012

This year's PJ Half Marathon will be held on 30th Sept 2012 at Petaling Jaya Stadium and will start at 5:00am.

Petaling Jaya Stamp Fair

If you are into stamps, head for the fair from 15-16 Sept 2012, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Venue is Petaling Jaya Community Library located at Jln Selangor in Section 3.

MATTA Fair 2012

The MATTA FAIR 2012 will be held from 7-9 Sept 2012, 10am to 9pm at PWTC. Plan your travel now and head there for good deals and packages.

Penang Starwalk 2012

The Penang 2012 Starwalk will be held at 6:30am, Monday on 12 Sept 2012. Location is Birch House at Penang Times Square. Online registration can be done at The Star official website. Closing date for competition category is 15 Aug 2012 and 3 Sept 2012 for non-competition category.

Putrajaya Flora Fair 2012

The annual Flora Fair near Millenium Monument will be on from 30 June 2012 to 8 July 2012. There will be plenty of flowers and plants that will be exhibited here besides other activities. Entrance is free.

Royal Exhibition At Former Istana Negara

The Royal Exhibition "Raja Kita" or Our King is currently being held at the former Istana Negara. This palace is located along Jalan Istana. It was opened by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'ad-zam Shah on 15 April 2012. The exhibition will be held here for 2 months.

Installation of Yang di-Pertuan Agong

Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah will be installed as the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Wednesday, April 11 2012. This day has been declared a national public holiday.

4th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon

This year's event will be held from 15 March to 18 March, 2012 at Millenium Monument Putrajaya, Precinct 2 from 7am to 9pm. Hot air balloon ride, helicopter rides and archery are some of the attractions you can do here.

Le Tour De Langkawi 2012

This year's event will be held from 24 Feb to 4 March starting from Putrajaya and ending at Kuala Terengganu. Click here for more details of the route.

MyRapid Cards Giveaway

Prasarana, the operator of LRT and Monorail lines will be given away MyRapid Cards to lucky visitors at the LEP(Line Extension Project) Open Day at Sunway Pyramid from 10-12 Feb 2012. There are many other events being held as well in conjunction with Subang Jaya Municipal Council's 15th Year Anniversary Celebration.

Stamp Fair

There will be a Stamp Fair at Petaling Jaya Community Library, Jalan Selangor, Seksyen 3, PJ near Assunta Hospital. It is organised by The Philatelic Society of Malaysia and is on from 3-4, March 2012. Time is from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Many stamp dealers will be present and admission is FREE.

Malaysia Travel News 2012 - Putrajaya Carnival 2012

The Putrajaya Carnival will be on from Feb 23-26, 2012. It will be held at Precinct 2 with the theme "Green Federal Territory". Cultural performances, futsal competition, car exhibitions and karaoke are some of the events to be held during this time.

Admission is FREE during the following times:

Malaysia Travel News 2012 - Thaipusam Celebration Road Closure

Thaipusam falls on 7 Feb 2012 and the roads near the Batu Caves temple will be closed from 6-7 Feb 2012. The roads that will be closed include the slip roads to Batu Caves, Jalan Batu Caves and Jalan Perusahaan.

Malaysia Travel News 2012 - PC FAIR(I) 2012

PC Fair(I) 2012 is back. The venue of the fair in Kuala Lumpur is at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre near Suria KLCC and will be held from April 13-15, 2012, Friday to Sunday. You can expect many computer-related goods with good discounts here.

If you are in Kuala Lumpur, go and visit Petronas Gallery at Level 3, Suria KLCC. Learn the significant moments of Malaysia for the past 40 years depicted through photographs. The exhibit is entitled "Capturing Malaysia Through The Years". It will be on until March 18, 2012 and admission is FREE.
