Sale is now on in major shopping malls. Head to your favourite malls and look for products that are on offer during this end of the year shopping.







National Planetarium

After being closed for 18 months for upgrading work, this planetarium is now open to the public. The latest addition is the Space Pod that simulate what it is like to travel into space. It will turn you upside down in a 3D rides and take you to all the planets in our solar system. Admission to the planetarium is FREE until October but you will have to pay to watch the movie and trying the Space Pod.


Sea Shells Exhibition At Natural History Museum Putrajaya

The Natural History Museum, Putrajaya is also currently exhibiting Sea Shells: Jewels of the sea from 1 June 2016 to 31 Oct 2016. See the many molluscs that can be found in the waters of Malaysia.

MATTA FAIR II 2016

The second MATTA FAIR of 2016 in Kuala Lumpur will be held from 2th-4th Sept 2016 at PWTC. Entrance fee is RM4/person and children below 12 is free. The time is from 10am to 9pm daily. Block your calendar and head for this fair. Travel packages with good discounts are usually offered during this time as there are many competing companies trying to sell their packages.

If you are in Penang, the fair will be held from 23-25th Sept 2016 at Straits Quay Convention Centre, Georgetown, Penang.


Japan High Speed Rail Shinkansen Exhibition

Head to Tokyo Street, Level 6Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and see the exhibits on Shinkansen. Entrance is FREE and it will be from 10am to 10pm daily until end of August 2016. This interactive exhibition will provide you with a better understanding of how a high speed train works. Plan for Malaysia and Singapore to have a high speed train linking Kuala Lumpur and Singapore is underway.


MITM Travel Fair KL 2016

This travel fair is back from 5-7 August 2016 with great offers to countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Phillipine, Singapore, China and not forgetting Malaysia. Venue is at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre and entrance to this fair is FREE.

KTMB Train Tickets for Hari Raya Aidilfitri

The Intercity Train and Electric Train services for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration for travel from 24 June 2016 to 17 July 2016 will be available for purchase starting 3 June 2016. Tickets can be purchased online at KTMB website or KTMB ticket counters.


Bukit Merah Orang Utan School Holidays Promotion

In conjunction with the school holidays from now until 12 June 2016, the entrance tickets to the Orang Utan Island at Bukit Merah Lake, Perak will be RM25/adult and RM15/child for those with MyKad and MyKid. This price includes the 3km return boat ride from Bukit Merah Laketown Resort to the Orang Utan Island where the 22 orang utans are located. 


Stamp Fair

Royal Floria Putrajaya 2016

School holidays is here. Go for a day trip to Putrajaya and see the beautiful flower and gardens from May 27 to June 4, 2016 at Anjung Floria, Precinct 4, Putrajaya. Operation hours from 9am-10:30pm(Mon-Thurs) and 9am-12midnight(Fri-Sun).


International Shoe Festival 2016

This year's theme of this event is "Sole of the Nation: A Colourful World of Shoes" and will be held at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur from 29 April to 1 May 2016. Time is from 10:30am to 8:30pm. Get the latest shoes, bags and accessories while you are here. 


8th Putrajaya International Hot-Air Balloon Fiesta 2016

If you are a Chinese tourists, take note that visa is no longer necessary to come to Malaysia from March-December 2016. This move by the Malaysian government is to help boost the number of visitors from China.

JB Sentral-S'pore Train Service

Good news to all commuters between Johor Bahru and Singapore. Starting 1 July 2015, a new shuttle train service between Johor Sentral and Woodlands Station will be launched. It will be offering 14 trips daily from 5:30am-10pm at JB Sentral Station and from 6:30am-11pm at Woodlands Station. One-way fare from Woodlands is S$5 and return trip from Johor Sentral is RM5.


Shuttle Train Service Padang Besar-Hatyai

You can now go to Hatyai from Padang Besar and vice-versa in 55 minutes. There will be two departures from each station daily. The ticket is priced at THB80 one-way. The service commenced on 22 Dec 2015.

Departure from Hatyai to Padang Besar - 7:30am and 1.05pm

Departure from Padang Besar to Hatyai - 8:55am and 2:40pm


AirAsia New Year Promotional Deals
