Below was our experience of going up the popular Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.

In 2007, we took the opportunity to visit Petronas Twin Towers and see the most popular landmark in the city of Kuala Lumpur. There are only a certain number of passes that are issued per day. The passes to Level 41 are free of charge and are issued on a first come first serve basis. This is really amazing as most other towers in the world charges a fee to go up their towers. Weekends passes are usually snapped up before lunch, hence we would suggest that you go early in the morning and queue up to take the tickets.

Take note that effective Oct 2010, there will be no more free passes to go up the towers. A charge of RM10 for a 15 minutes tour of Level 41 sky bridge is available for the first 1,000 visitors daily. A 1 hour guided tour to Level 86 for RM40 is also available for the first 200 visitors daily. Tickets can be purchased at the Concourse Level of the towers.

We were at the entrance 15 minutes before the actual time of visit and was ushered into a room where a documentary show about the construction and history of the Twin Towers was shown.

A personnel then took us to the skybridge with a wide and spacious walkway. Remember to bring along your camera as you will be able to see the skyline of Kuala Lumpur from here.
