Subang Parade - It's Our Place

Having been around for nearly 20 years, Subang Parade shopping complex was recently refurbished under its new owner, The Hektar Group. Renovaton work that was done and have been completed include the replacement of flooring, improvement on the lightings, facilities for mothers and the physically challenged and the upgrading of toilet facilities. Its tagline is "It's Our Place".

The modern and clean toilets that have been redesigned was recently awarded 3rd Prize in the Public Toilets Competition 2006, Shopping Centre Category organised by the Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan and Kementerian Kerja-Raya. The main features include motion sensor taps, emergency call button to make it more disable-friendly, easy access door locks, handrails and motion sensor activated doors.

As with any mega shopping complexes, this shopping mall has almost everything that you need within the same building. There are over 160 specialty shops that offer a whole range of food and beverage outlets, fashion, toys, homewares, jewellery, books, gifts and children specialties.

The main tenants are:

• Parkson Grand Departmental Store which offers a whole range of boutique, sports wear, homewares, toys and shoes to name a few.
• MPH bookstore offers a huge range of latest titles in town for your reading needs.
• Cold Storage has a wide selection of food and beverage for your household needs.
• HSL electrical shop has a whole range of electrical goods for you to choose from.
• Digital One is the place to head to for your IT needs. There are plenty of brands that you can choose from here.
• Toys 'R' Us will enable you to browse through the many toys and educational needs of your children.
• Celebrity Fitness Gym is the place where you can go to improve your fitness level.

Getting Here

If you are intend to come by bus, a few of RAPID KL BUSES ply this route. The bus no. and the route that it goes are as shown below.

If you are coming by KTM Komuter train, stop at Subang Jaya Station and take a 5 minutes walk to the mall.

Subang Jaya To LCCT Shuttle Service

Good news to all travellers from Subang Jaya to Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) airport. The shuttle service called Star Shuttle is now available as an alternative transport to all who will be going to LCCT from Subang Jaya. The air-conditioned 36-seater buses can now be boarded from outside the entrance of the mall in front of Digital One for a one way priced of RM9 per passenger.

The shuttle service runs from 4:45am to 9:30pm. The frequency of the buses is between 75 minutes to 90 minutes during peak hours in the early morning and a 2 hours interval during non-peak hours. Tickets can be purchased from the Utamagas staff seated at the table next to the bunting located at the hub where the buses stop at the entrance of the mall.
