Rapid KL Bus Promotion
Rapid KL is the company that has been entrusted to provide an integrated public transport system consisting of rail and
bus services in Klang Valley. It is 100% government-owned company under the Ministry of Finance.
In conjunction with the effort by the Malaysian Government to welcome tourists into the country, Rapid KL has come up with
unlimited day travel for only RM2 promotion. This promotion commences from January 16, 2006 and is the most economical way to travel around the city. All the buses that are used are new buses to ensure that you have a comfortable and memorable ride in the city.

The fully air conditioned bus

There are a total of 15 routes that you can take and there are buses every 5 minutes. This city shuttle can be taken from
5 main hubs. They are:
- Titiwangsa which is serviced by bus number 101, 102 and 103.
- Kuala Lumpur City Centre which is serviced by bus number 104, 105 and 106.
- KL Sentral which is serviced by bus number 109, 110 and 115.
- Maluri which is serviced by bus number 111, 112, 113 and 114
- Medan Pasar which is serviced by bus number 101, 102, 105, 108, 111 and 113.
Where To Purchase Ticket
The ticket can be purchased on the bus itself and is valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase. You can use cash or
Touch n Go card. Ensure that you retain the ticket as it can be reused for the next 24 hours.

There are many places of interest that you can go as you travel. It takes a bit of planning to ensure that you take the

- Ampang Park Shopping Complex
- Berjaya Times Square Shopping Complex which has a big bowling alley and indoor theme park.
- Central Market and Chinatown for souvenir and bazaar style shopping.
- KLCC, KL Tower, Petronas Towers all within walking distance for a good time of shopping and sight seeing from
the "sky".
- Lot 10, Low Yat Plaza, Sg. Wang Plaza, Starhill, Sogo, The Weld for more shopping option or strolling around.
- National Museum, Merdeka Square, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Istana Negara to discover the history of Malaysia
and historical buildings.
- Malaysia Tourism Centre in getting more brochures and information on Malaysia.
