One-Way fare is RM1 for Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan, Singapore, Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang and Palembang. Fares to Chiengmai, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Hanoi, Clark(Manila), Macau, Shenzhen and Haikou (Hainan) are priced at RM70. One way fare to Hong Kong is priced at RM150. May 2008 Travel News AirAsia X will be flying direct to Perth from Kuala Lumpur starting from Nov 2, 2008. The airline is offering 5,000 free seats for travel period from 2 Nov 2008 - 30 April 2008. The average fare which is basically fuel surcharge and airport tax comes to about RM400. Business-class seats cost about RM2,000. Booking period is from 16-17 May 2008.
May 2008 Travel News Malaysia Airlines will be having the Everyday Low Fares ASEAN Sale for more than 1 million seats. You can now fly from KL, Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Kuching and Langkawi to ASEAN destinations such as Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Thailand, Cambodia and even China for RM0 one-way. The fare is not exactly RM0 as you will still have to pay for the fuel surcharge and airport tax. You have to be sure of the dates of your travel as no refunds is allowed for any cancellation. Booking can be done online at MAS website starting from 21 May 2008.
May 2008 Travel News In response to the promotion by Malaysia Airlines, low cost carrier Air Asia is offering more than 1 million "Sub Zero" free seats on all domestic destinations. Booking period is from 12-16 May 2008 for travel period from 10 June 2008 - 30 April 2009. A One Way trip from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu during this campaign will start from as low as RM17 which includes fuel surcharge and arport tax. A trip from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah will start from RM44.
May 2008 Travel News Good news to all travelers. The national carrier of Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines System is offering one million "Zero Fare" seats on all domestic destinations. Booking period is from 5-19 May 2008 for travel period from 10 June - 14 Dec 2008. This zero fare promotion is not exactly RM0 as you will still have to pay for the fuel surcharge, insurance levy, airport tax and other applicable charges. Promotion is only available by booking online. Take note that there is no refunds if you are not able to travel after doing your booking.

April 2008 Travel News The Malaysia International Space Adventure (MISA) in Putrajaya has been extended until April 16, 2008. This expo offers visitors the experience that astronauts go through via a range of multi-dimensional and multi-sensory equipments. April 2008 News The annual state level Water Festival 2008 will be held in Port Dickson from April 11-13, 2008. This three days event will feature water sports activities such as water scooter races, tug-of-war, beach football, volleyball, telematches and fishing competition. A total of RM40,000 in prize money is up for grab to all the winners. The location of the festival will be at Cahaya Negeri beach, Jalan Pantai beach(km 8) and Bagan Pinang beach(km 5).
