The Malaysia calendar 2011 published here is for your reference if you would like to know the holidays of Malaysia for year 2011. Most of the holidays will be maintained every year except the dates could be different.

1 (Sunday): Labour Day
17 (Tuesday) : Wesak Day


JUNE

4 (Saturday): Birthday of Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong 


AUGUST

30 (Tuesday) & 31 (Wednesday): Hari Raya Puasa *
31 (Wednesday): National Day or Hari Kebangsaan

16 (Friday): Malaysia Day


OCTOBER

26 (Wednesday): Deepavali


NOVEMBER

6 (Sunday): Hari Raya Haji/Qurban*
27 (Sunday): Awal Muharram (Maal Hijrah)

Whenever a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the next day shall be a public holiday 









Malaysia Calendar 2011 School Holidays

For the year 2011, the total number of school days including public holidays is 210 days. The total number of holidays is 78 days.

School Commences : 3rd January 2011

1st Mid Term Break (9 Days) : 12th March - 20th March 2011 

2nd Mid Term Break (16 Days) : 28th May - 12th June 2011 

3rd Mid Term Break (9 Days) : 27th Aug - 4th Sept 2011

End of the Year Break (44 Days) : 19th November 2011 - 1st January 2012



Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu

School Commences : 2nd January 2010

1st Mid Term Break (9 Days) : 11th March - 19th March 2011 

2nd Mid Term Break (16 Days) : 27th May - 11th June 2011 

3rd Mid Term Break (9 Days) : 26th Aug - 3rd Sept 2011

End of the Year Break (44 Days) : 18th November 2011 - 31st Dec 2011

* Take note that in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, Term Break commences a day earlier.
