Malaysia Calendar 2008


Malaysia calendar 2008 shows that for the year 2008, there is a total of 14 days of national holidays for the working Malaysians to spend some time off from their work routine. The total number of national holidays for year 2008 is similar to year 2007.

On top of this national level holidays, there are also a few days of state holidays that are declared by the various states and federal territories. Details of the holidays are listed below.

If you plan to come to Malaysia for holiday but have limited budget, plan your holidays so as not to coincide with the national, state or school holidays as the hotel rates will be higher than normal time during this time. Click here to skip to the Malaysia School Holidays 2008 section.

Join the many "open house" when you are in Malaysia during the national festivals such as Hari Raya Puasa, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Christmas. Food and refreshments will be served during this time to celebrate these events. Have a fun time together with other Malaysians during this time of national-level celebrations.
