Free Zoo Day For Children

Zoo Negara or National Zoo will be giving free entry to children between 3-12 years old from 11 Nov 2013 to 15 Nov 2013 in conjunction with the Zoo's 50th anniversary. AirAsia 1 Million Free Seats

AirAsia is offering 1 million free seats on selected routes for travel next year from 7 Jan 2014 to 5 Aug 2014. You will still have to pay for airport taxes and fees. Booking must be done from 17-22 Sept 2013.

Malaysia Day Celebration Sept 16

This year's Malaysia Day celebration which falls on 16 Sept 2013 will be held in Sabah. It will be held at Prince Philip Eco Park, Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This day commemorates the formation of Malaysia with the entry of Sabah and Sarawak as part of this nation. All are invited to attend this event which will run till midnight.

National Open House - Aidilfitri Raya Merdeka 2013

In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Malaysia National Day, there will be a National Open House celebration in Melaka. Haze Situation In Malaysia

Malaysia has been experiencing haze for the past few days due to the fire that is burning in Sumatera, Indonesia. Check out the Air Pollution Index of various towns from the Department of Environment Malaysia. You may find it difficult to go in due to the increase in traffic to this site.

Putrajaya Floria 2013

This garden and flora festival annual event will be held at Putrajaya from 22-30 June 2013. This year's theme will focus around orchid. Come and learn the various species of orchid planted throughout this region.

Time: 9am to 10pm from Monday to Thursday, extended to 12 midnight from Friday to Sunday.

LIMA 2013 Tourism Carnival

In conjunction with LIMA 2013, there will be a 5-day carnival in Langkawi from 26-30 Mar 2013. This carnival will be held daily from 10am to 12 midnight at LADA Parking Lot, Langkawi.

Performances, food, quizzes and homestay program are some of the activities you will encounter here.

Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013

This annual event will be held at Putrajaya from 28-31 Mar 2013. The balloonists will compete every morning from 7am to 9am. In the evenings, balloon show will start at 6pm. Fireworks will be on display on 30 March 2013. Helicopter rides will also be available from 30-31 March 2013.

Tethered hot air balloon rides that will be hoisted 60 feet off the ground are available from 7:30am to 10:30am in the morning and 7pm to 10pm in the evening for RM20/person.

2013 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix

This premier event will be held at Sepang International Circuit from 22-24 Mar 2013.

Old Istana Negara Opened To The Public

The former official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong along Jalan Syed Putra is now opened to the public since 1 Feb 2013. This historical building was built in 1928 and had been the residence of 13 Yang di-Pertuan Agongs since independence. The new Istana is now located at Jalan Duta.

CROCODILE EXHIBITION NEGERI SEMBILAN
