From 1 November 2010 to 15 March 2011, the Aerotrain services that links the Main Terminal Building and Satellite Building at KL International Airport (KLIA) will be closed for upgrading works. Free shuttle buses will be made available during this period.
All visitors to Genting Highlands: please note that the Genting Skyway is closed for maintenance from 13 Sept 2010 to 21 Nov 2010. Hence, you will need to drive, take a cab or bus to the theme parks.

The Rainforest World Music Festival 2010 will be held from 9-11(Friday to Sunday) July 2010. The venue is at Sarawak Cultural Village, Santubong. All budget travelers take note that the Bandar Utama-LCCT bus service has been launched on 1 June 2010. There will be 16 different times for the route from 3.30 am to 7.45 pm Tickets can be puchased onboard the bus or AirAsia flights.

The Terengganu Government will be hosting the World Gamelan Festival at the Terengganu State Museum from July 23 to July 26, 2010. Groups from Japan, Europe, Indonesia and Malaysia will be here to showcase the traditional Indonesian ensembly typically including many tuned percussion instruments.
The Puduraya Bus Terminal has been closed for 4 months effective 12 April 2010 for upgrading and renovation works. All North and South bound travellers will have to take the buses from Bukit Jalil Complex Parking Lot F (near Bukit Jalil Hockey Stadium), a temporary site. For those who need to travel from Puduraya to Bukit Jalil, RapidKL is providing the service at RM2. Taxi services to Genting Highlands will continue to operate from Puduraya terminal. 2010 Malaysia Travel News Local students aged 13 and above can not get the KTMB 50% discount card for long-distance travel from all KTMB stations.All secondary school students, students of public and private higher-learning institutions, part-time or distance learning students can apply for the cards. However, students of teacher training, nursing, police and armed forces colleges and health institutes will have to pay RM30 annually for the card. 2010 Malaysia Travel News The second edition of the annual Putrajaya International Balloon Fiesta will be held in Putrajaya from March 18-21, 2010. This four days event will be held at Precint 2 with the theme 1 World, 1 Malaysia, 1 Fiesta. Hot air balloons will be lifted off at the Millenium Monument car park at Precinct 2 to a height of 10,000 feet. Publiccan take a ride on the balloons twice a day, from 8am to 11am and 6pm to 9pm. Other activities for the public include helicopter rides, water ball and sphere rides, colouring competition, photographycompetition, auto show and petting zoo.
