Discover KL On Tram


Discover KL On Tram to avoid the traffic congestion in the city. This service is provided by the same operator of Hop-On Hop-Off bus service and is the cheapest mode of travel around the places of interest in Kuala Lumpur.

Get a ticket of RM4 per adult and RM2 per child to enjoy unlimited ride on the eight-seater electric tram. For a whole day, you can drop off and come up the tram at the 21 designated stops around Dataran Merdeka and Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park.

KL On Tram - Heritage Zone

Start your journey at KL City Gallery and discover the heritage of Kuala Lumpur with buildings that existed since 1890s. Here are the attractions near Dataran Merdeka or Merdeka Square that you would want to visit. The tram will stop you at the nearest stop and you can proceed to explore these places before coming back to board the tram for the next stop. There are 9 attractions in this zone.

  4. Victoria Fountain
  5. Royal Selangor Club or Kelab DiRaja Selangor

  8. High Court Building
  9. City Theatre or Panggung Bandaraya

This zone has many parks and museums that you can visit. There are 15 attractions for you to explore here. Plan to spend at least a day here.

Buying The Tickets

Tickets to board the trams can be purchased at KL City Gallery which is located near Dataran Merdeka and the Kuala Lumpur Library. The schedule of the tram service:

Service within the Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park

  • 9:30am to 5:00pm daily 

Service within Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park and Dataran Merdeka

  • Mon-Fri : 9:30am to 11:30am, 2pm to 4pm 
  • Sat-Sun: 9:30am to 5:00pm

Price of tickets: RM4/adult and RM2/child
