Holiday Villa Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi was opened in January 1992. The resort is set on the mystical isle of legends, Langkawi which sprawled over 13 acres of land, fronting one of the island’s finest beach at Pantai Tengah.

Recreational Facilities

Holiday Villa Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi boasts of one of the largest swimming pools in Malaysia with an open air jacuzzi. Scuba diving to Pulau Payar Marine Park can be arranged from the hotel. This island is a Marine Park and is located at the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is accessible by speedboat from Langkawi Island. Visitors usually go for a day trip to this island as there isn't any resort on this island.

The swimming pool at this resort is one of the largest in Malaysia.

The ballroom measuring 4,000 square feet provides the facility for banquets and conference for up to 360 persons. For meetings, there are 3 separate rooms, each measuring 767 square feet. Also available is a duty free store.

Dining

The 24-hour Lagenda Restaurant offers a wide range of local and western cuisine. Other food and beverage outlets include The Mario’s Italian Restaurant with a seating capacity of 42 persons.

Tropical Beach & Snack Bar, Matahari Lounge, Sunset Karaoke Fun Pub and Sunset Terrace all overlook a breathtaking view of the sea with satay as an all day attraction. There is also a Lagenda function room for special arrangements and group meals (80 persons).

Amoaras Spa

The Amoaras Relaxation Spa is built on 2,600 square feet of landscaped land. The spa offers a delightful one-stop body pampering centre.

Getting Here

If you are coming from Kuala Lumpur, you can take Malaysia Airlines (MAS) or no frills budget Airlines, Air Asia. The latest smaller budget airline known as Firefly also flies directly to Langkawi International Airport from Penang and Subang Airport.

The flight from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi International Airport will take approximately 50 minutes. Direct flight to Langkawi is also available if you are coming from Singapore. There are also direct international flights from Osaka and Taipei. Once you arrived at the airport, take a taxi to the hotel which is about 15km or 15 minutes away.

If you are driving, the island can be accessed by ferries from Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis to Kuah, the main town on Pulau Langkawi. Once you arrive at the jetty, public transport are available to take you to the resort.

The hotel is located 15km away from Langkawi International Airport at Padang Mat Sirat.
